Hello, Lou-Man! I know you're on your way home from your road-trip with Nonna and Pop so I thought I'd take a moment and say 'hi' on your blog ... I know that it can be really stressful when it's time for Report Cards and that you tend to worry about our reactions ...I just want you to know that your Dad and I are proud of you, Lou. The day you were born is a bright and shining start in our memories and all the ones we've made together since! We think you are the most amazing little boy we've ever known and you are growing into a fine young man. You have passion, dreams, enthusiasm and a generous and kind heart. You are very loved by many and bless others with your willingness to love in return.
Your father and I were talking about our final years of high school (a few more years until you come to that mountain, my son :0) We were commenting on our 'near' miss for graduation (for both of us!) and how we struggled in many classes in school. But, there were those classes that we really enjoyed and found ourselves doing well in! Guess what? We still do well in those areas (and still struggle with the others :0)
God has a plan for you, Lou and He will continue to take care of you and direct you ... remember this and to acknowledge Him in all you do - out of your obedience will come blessings in abundance, my love. It is more than ok to struggle - it is the 'stuff of character' !!!
Anyway, we love you and miss you and are looking forward to your return.
Love, Mom
